For use with a sidecar it is advisable to fit top links to the forks measuring 3" from centre to centre of spindle. This improves the steering and makes the machine and sidecar run very steady. For prolonged sidecar use we recommend a 145 lb. spring 8 1/2" long. It is also best to use a 19T sprocket on the gear box.

Do not reduce the tappet clearance below that given.
