The main UK Velocette Owners Club website for the single-cylinder Velocette models; there is a separate LE Velo owners club for afficionados of the flat-twin models. Site revamped for 2021.
A comprehensive database of Velocette technical data compiled and maintained by Dai Gibbison. This is a mirror of Dai's original site after his original web hosting was closed.
A restricted membership group established at the end of 2001 with currently 1500+ members; from the group information page:
"The objective of this e group is to foster the sharing of knowledge and the building of a virtual community of those interested in technical aspects of Velocette motorcycles."
Membership of the group is by request; no reasonable application refused. On signing up you'll receive an email asking for your reasons for joining the group - this is primarily an anti-spam thing, not an attempt to create barriers to joining. Reply accordingly and your membership can be approved.
From November 2019 the group relocated to Groups.io from Yahoo Groups following Yahoo's announcement that they were shutting down Yahoo Groups. Happily all material and messages from the group were preserved and the site is regarded as a substantial improvement all round.
A club specifically for enthusiasts of the post-war flat-twin lightweight models, the LE, Valiant, Vogue and Viceroy.
A site built to provide (amongst other things) a searchable real-text version of several Velocette manuals (service guides, owner's handbooks etc.) You will also find a point and click version of the so-called Blue Book parts list covering the 350 and 500cc spring-framed models up to and including the Thruxton.
